She obtained her PhD in 2013, from Romanian Academy, in the field of acrylic polymers and block copolymers for photo(bio)applications. After her PhD, she has been postdoctoral fellow for two years at “Al. I. Cuza” University Iasi, Romania. Her main research interests consist on using the cellulose derivatives for the development of materials for technical applications including photocatalysis, UV shielding, fuel cells, development of photopolymerized nanocomposites with improved mechanical and optical features, and synthesis and characterization of fluorescent molecules for production of fluorescent sensor materials. She co-authored more than 40 research papers, being active involved in national and international conferences as speaker. She led several scientific projects as a director being also member of “European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence” and Chemical Society of Romania.
