Dr. Ceren Karaman received her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Ankara University, Turkey, in 2020. She is currently serving as an associate professor at Akdeniz University and has over 10 years of experience in material science and technology, focusing on advanced nanomaterials and their applications in energy storage, conversion systems, and electrochemical sensors. Dr. Karaman has extensive experience in collaborative research with both national and international groups.
To date, she has edited 5 international books, authored 6 chapters in international publications, and published over 90 articles in peer-reviewed SCI-indexed journals. She has also presented more than 40 oral papers at international conferences and holds various editorial roles for over 15 SCI-indexed journals.
In addition to her academic achievements, Dr. Karaman holds a patent in the field of advanced materials for energy storage systems. Currently, she is broadening her academic background at NEO-Energy Research Group at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia (ICN2) in Barcelona, Spain, where she focuses on the application of 3D hybrid graphene structures in energy storage and conversion systems.
