Dr. Cosmin Romanitan received the PhD in physics from the Department of Solid-State Physics, University of Bucharest in 2019 for the thesis entitled: Investigation of the strain related phenomena in nanomaterials by X-ray based methods. Currently, he is Senior Researcher rank II at National Institute for R&D in Microtechnologies, Bucharest, Romania. Since 2017 he coordinates the Diffractometry Laboratory at MINAFAB-IMT. His research activity expanded in the frame of 26 research projects focusing on the non-destructive investigation of the microstructural properties of nanomaterials in connection with their applicative potential for charge storage devices, electrochromic devices, photocatalysis, or photodetectors. His important scientific results were published in prestigious journals and were presented in international and national conferences.
