Antalya is the fifth-most populous city in Turkey and the capital of Antalya Province. The city is a significant centre for tourism, attracting many international conferences and diplomatic meetings, being currently the fourth-most visited city in the world. 

The talks, oral and poster presentations, lectures and the board during ICPAM-16 and PAMS-7 will be at Faculty of Science (Building B), Akdeniz University (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akdeniz_University), Pınarbaşı Mah. Dumlupınar Bulvarı 07070 Kampüs Konyaaltı/ANTALYA 

HOW TO GET TO ANTALYA CITY 

By plane 

Antalya international airport is located at approximately 21 km from Akdeniz University. 

Airport transfer 

Below you have some links to access the information about the transfer from the Antalya airport to Antalya city, respectively to reach the Akdeniz University campus.

If you select to take the tram: 

  • Follow the signs to the tram, take the tram line “Fatih” 
  • At the “Otogar (Bus Station)” stop, get off from the “Fatih” tram and change it to the “Müze” by following the signs 
  • Get off from the tram at “Akdeniz Üniversitesi (Akdeniz University)” stop and you will see the entrance of the campus on the right 
  • Walk inside the campus by telling the security that you’re going to a conference to Faculty of Science and take the ring bus number AÜ102 or AÜ103 and get off at the last stop which will be “Fen Fakültesi (Faculty of Science)”  
  • Follow the signs to the Faculty of Science Building B  
  • If you can’t find the signs to the building B, after getting off from the ring bus, walk left and take the first right, walk about 100 meters and building B will be on the left. 

If you select to take the bus 600: 

  • Get off from the bus at the stop “Adliye Sarayı (stop number 10588)” 
  • Walk to the traffic lights on the south, take right and cross the road 
  • Walk inside the campus by telling the security that you’re going to a conference to Faculty of Science and take the ring bus number AÜ102 or AÜ103 and get off at the last stop which will be “Fen Fakültesi (Faculty of Science)”  
  • Follow the signs to the Faculty of Science Building B 
  • If you can’t find the signs to the building B, after getting off from the ring bus, walk left and take the first right, walk about 100 meters and building B will be on the left. 

For public transportation you can use credit cards. You may also buy Antalya Kart from Airport tram station or Antalya Kart kiosk. 

If you will have internet connection (there may be free Wi-Fi at the airport), you can download the “Antalya Kart” app and search for the numbers of the buses given above to see the route and the stops that you will get off. 

If you select a shuttle: 

Havas Shuttle Service is available for every domestic aircraft landing at Antalya Airport.  International passengers, may use shuttle buses by going to domestic exit.

If you select to take a taxi: 

There are taxi stands located in front of the arrival exits of all terminals. There are taxi ranks outside both Interantional Terminal 1 (T1), Interantional Terminal 2(T2) and Domestic Terminal at Antalya International Airport. All taxi drivers have special airport identification tags. 

You need tell the driver that you’re going to Akdeniz University/Faculty of Science Building B (Akdeniz Universitesi/Fen Fakültesi B bloğa gideceğim – Or you can directly show this sentence to the driver in case of if he/she doesn’t know English ). At the entrance of the campus, tell the security that you’re going to a conference to Faculty of Science.  

For the visitors who will use taxi or car and will not have internet connection, downloading the GPS route to see it offline from Airport to the department is recommended.
